It's my first scarf. Although it a little heavy and completely full of flaws, I really enjoyed the monotonous time I spent making it. I used a knitting loom and acrylic yarn. I'm just practicing on the cheap stuff for now, but I definitely plan on taking knitting class in the spring at our local knitting store, Knit and Caboodle. (Unfortunately, they had a waiting list for the beginning knitter class this go round.)
