I almost didn't make it!

I've been busy obsessing over Alice Water's The Art of Simple Food. It is a very lovely cookbook that speaks to my core: simple, delicious food.



I made these lovely Chocolate Crackle Cookies.

The secret to these yummy cookies is a cup of almonds pulsed in the food processor and just a touch of brandy in the chocolate.
