Life has been rather lovely on my side of the world. I have finally proved that I am a fabulous cupcake maker. To be honest, I was rather hesitant about trying vegan cupcakes. However, these delicious little cakes proved to be satisfying.
I was a bit safe in my approach. I decided on the golden vanilla cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting, a timeless favorite. They baked perfectly with a light vanilla flavoring and chocolate-milk-like frosting.
I also picked up these water bottles today:
On average I have one bottled water a day, five days a week. That averages out to 260 bottles a year in the landfills. Instead, these will do the trick. They are made of polycarbonate, so they will not leach chemicals into the water.
Also, our new blue couch is fairing pretty well.
As you can see, Pugapoo was annoyed by my incessant picture taking, and Pikachu plopped himself up on a pillow. This couch serves more as a dog bed, but I like it anyway.
