African Safari right in your own backyard

I have been quite addicted to Africam lately. It's a wild life cam on the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. The reserve has camera set up to film live audio of a watering hole.

(PLEASE NOTE: I am missing some sort of plug-in that cannot be found in Firefox. So I had to view it in IE.)

So far I have only seen some sort of duck and a herd of wildebeest. I just missed a hyena. Nonetheless, it's absolutely awesome.

Apparently, I'm not the only one addicted. There is a forum where members can post sightings. One even has his own Nkorho Album where you can view in depth pictures of animals he has sighted and even audio. (The audio of the baboon made the boys howl. It was freaky.)

I am determined to view an elephant and lion!

Speaking of wild game. I just so happened to make Venison Chili Today. It was delicious. I used this recipe, but substituted the beef and sirloin for deer meat. It had an amazing flavor.
