As harvest season seems to be winding down, please take a moment to thank farmers.
Without them, we definitely wouldn't have had all of this summer's delightful produce.
Josh and I are solid proponents of fresh, local produce. We visit our local farmer's market every Saturday. Luckily, it's right down the road from our house. This summer we have benefited from the bounties of honey, fresh goat cheese, watermelon, tomatoes galore, zucchini, and mountains of other lovely vegetables.
(Although we are not part of a CSA, it is a wonderful concept. Just look at all of those beautiful vegetables.)
